As you may recall, our very own Dodge Grand Caravan recently turned 30. Given the fondness we already had for it here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Billings, it was quite the cause for celebration.

And after three decades on our lineup, this fabulous minivan is just getting started.

Eight years ago, the brass at Dodge introduced Stow 'n' Go seating into the Grand Caravan. If this your first time hearing of it, Stow 'n' Go allows the minivan's second row of seats to fold down and be conveniently stored into the floor of the vehicle. Since it was introduced, it's been a gift that's kept on giving.

And now that Dodge recently filed a patent for a new generation of Stow 'n' Go seating, we can't wait to see it in action.

From what we've gathered, it looks like you'll no longer have to move the front-row seats in order to the stow the second row. Not only that, but instead of having to use a separate cover to create a smooth flooring, the seatback of the second-row seats will be built-in to take care of that.

If all goes according to plan, the new Stow 'n' Go seating is set to appear in the next-gen Dodge Grand Caravan sometime next year. And if you'd like to gain a base of comparison, the 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan awaits you at our dealership here in Billings, MT. Take it from us: time has been kind to this one.
